Tomorrow is the 18th Annual Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Wyoming Award and Recognition Breakfast. The Mick & Susie  McMurry Cowboy Code Try Award will be given out tomorrow to honor those who give back to the community. Hope to see you there.

Today I finished the Sacred Heart of Jesus and it will be a monumental bronze 17 feet in height to be placed at Our Lady-Fatima Catholic Church Casper,WY dedication June of 2017. The sculpture will have light radiating from his heart.

It was 30 years ago this week I won the Wyoming State Fair demolition derby.

It was 30 years ago this week I won the Wyoming State Fair demolition derby. I was driving a 1964 Chrysler Imperial it would take a licking and keep on ticking. That was fun!

Today is the last day of my male figure sculpting workshop at Art 321 in Casper. It has been a great class the students and model have been great to work with.

It has been an honor to have it in my home town. This is the largest exhibit of my work with over 65 sculptures

So the most important thing to bring to this class is a hungry mind, the desire to sculpt and a positive attitude. We will study armature construction, anatomical proportion, composition, design and gesture. We will also look for that hidden spark that brings the essence of life into our own work. Working with oil base clay and using live models we will sculpt a male figure.

Whenever I am competing on Hank that horse always gives me a chance to win!

Hank and I had a great weekend roping at the Wrangler roping in Riverton WY. Yesterday. We came in first out of 165 teams and won another saddle with Brett Hoover. Whenever I am competing on Hank that horse always gives me a chance to win!
