''DEPARTED SPIRITS''With this bronze sculpture I wanted to do a mystical composition. A native warrior horseback is ascending through the horn of a Buffalo bull's skull. The Plains Indian and American Buffalo lives were intertwined. When the great herds of buffalo became nonexistent the life of the Plains Indian and their way of life departed.
