I have never put limitations on myself or the subject matter I create.
I have never put limitations on myself or the subject matter I create. I have made a great deal of what is called western art. That is work I have a passion and knowledge of because I have been a horseman and cowboy all of my life. However I have created a great amount of art that does not fit in that genre. I like to create inspirational and spiritual works also. In creating sculpture I never want to put limits or labels on my subject matter; the most important thing is it must excite and challenge me.

Art making is mostly a product of hard work. Living life
productively, if you do not live your life productively nothing will save your
artwork, not even talent. It is more important be productive than creative. If
you are productive the creativity will take care of itself.
