''BEST FRIENDS''
''BEST FRIENDS'' showing the start and finish of bronze memorial sculpture of Jason Eades located at Park Elementary school Casper, WY. Jason was a young boy who lost his life to cancer. His family started the Jason's Friends Foundation which helps and supports other families who have to deal with this horrible disease. When a child is diagnosed with a brain or spinal cord tumor or childhood cancer, the family suddenly faces unexpected medical expenses, numerous road trips for medical appointments and treatments and other financial hardships such as, loss of income. Before Jason's Friends Foundation, there was no organized help for these families in Wyoming. Jason's Friends Foundation ensures that Wyoming families will not lose everything they own simply because they have the misfortune of having a child with cancer. Jason's Friends Foundation provides financial support the family needs in order for the family to focus on one of the most emotional and critical challenges in life, having a child with cancer. ''SALMON DREAMS''
Wednesday, June 17, 2015
In the end it is not about how many years you lived
The great thing about working with bronze it is such a strong, durable, and permanent medium. . The creation of monuments is extremely time consuming and labor intensive, requiring an initial design, creating a clay model, then casting it in bronze through the lost wax method. I find that the labor gives me great personal satisfaction. To know that my work will be standing in the sun long after I’m gone for future generations to experience and enjoy is thrilling. Sculpting is what I do for a living, I have found something I have a great love and passion for. I hope others can see that through the works I have created. Because In the end it is not about how many years you lived in this world but what you leave behind that truly matters.

''CLOUD DANCER''
''CLOUD DANCER'' by Chris Navarro I created this sculpture with a flowing S design. The eagle and the base both have very contrasting compositions and textures. Combining realism with abstraction gives this sculpture a very unique look. Attaching the eagles top wing I use the negative space beneath the lower wing to give a feeling of flight and movement in the sculpture.
Original precast sculpture to be cast in bronze. 20.5'' height and 10.5'' length 8'' width limited edition 50 a precast bronze price of $1850. 50% deposit balance when bronze sculpture is shipped please contact Chris Navarro Studio if you have any questions chrisnavarrostudio@gmail.com (307)259-7305 Here is a short video showing the creation of the sculpturehttps://youtu.be/Gl-t_ncR8HQ and also another video showing the bronze casting process https://youtu.be/NNNNjQbKjOA
