I will be doing a QuickDraw artist demonstration at the Jackson Hole arts Festival this Saturday at 10 AM in the Jackson Square near the elk antler arches. This is a 1 minute video that shows from start to finish. Artists will have 90 minutes to complete their sculpture or painting and they will be auctioned off with the proceeds help benefit the Jackson Chamber of Commerce. It’s a good time and a great way to watch 40 artist create their work. If you happen been to be in Jackson this weekend please stop by and say hi!

BROKEN JUST ABOUT ECERYTHING BUT MY WORD''
I have been asked if this sculpture is a self-portrait. It sure could have been. I have suffered a few injuries in my rodeo career and while working horses. I started rodeo when I was 16, by competing on bulls and broncs, then switched to team roping (in which I still compete). To date, I have had my front teeth knocked out; dislocated my left and right shoulders; broke my right and left collarbone; suffered 12 broken ribs and a collapsed left lung; busted my left thumb and right hand; broke my left shoulder blade; and had five concussions. I have had three surgeries to repair my left shoulder, left collarbone, and my right hand. In rodeo, it is not if you are going to get hurt⎯it’s when and how bad.
I believe being a rodeo cowboy was good training in becoming a professional artist. You have to be physically and mentally tough and learn to compete when you are hurt. You don't get paid unless you come through and deliver. When you get knocked down or bucked off, you just keep getting up and getting back on. You never know what you can do unless you try.

Have a  coming up have to drive my sculpture DARE TO DREAM BIG to Grand Rapids MI, for Artprize fly back for the quickdraw at the Jackson Hole Art Festival on Sept 15 do the Buffalo Bill Art Show and quickdraw Sept 20 – 22 and then fly back to Grand Rapids for Artprize I need 2 of me. Lucky I have my wife and partner Lynne she is going to be helping me all the way. If you happen to be at any of these shows stop by and say hello!

‘’DARE TO DREAM BIG’’ will be on display at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Wyoming’s 20th Annual Awards and Recognition Breakfast

  ‘’DARE TO DREAM BIG’’ will be on display at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Wyoming’s 20th Annual Awards and Recognition Breakfast to be held at the Events Center Casper, WY August 29, 2018.  The sculpture weighs 1100#s and we are setting it inside. Come to the Breakfast and write your goals and dreams down on the chalkboard. I have been writing mine down on it and they are starting to come true seriously!

’’DARE TO DREAM BIG’’ is a bronze sculpture for the young at heart. It tells the story of a cat sitting on books titled THE POWER OF BELIEF. The cat looking into a mirror sees his reflection as a lion. It is about being creative, thinking big, imagination and the power of belief. The way to become a lion is to think and believe you are lion.  The sculpture has an interactive element. Next to ‘’DARE TO DREAM BIG’’ is a chalk board.
