This week I wanted to share some of the great work from the artists we show at Navarro Gallery in Sedona, AZ. If you are coming through Arizona, you need to stop by or go visit our website chrisnavarro.com
Ron Mulligan has always lived in the Southwest and was intrigued by the culture and art of the Native Americans who inhabited this region. While hiking, he explored the petroglyphs and pottery shards left behind by these ancient people and became enthralled with southwest designs. Working with segmented wood turning, Ron began turning his own bowls, incorporating the shapes and symbols of the Southwest into his vessels. This soon became his passion; one that consumes all his time now.
