THE GOSSIPS Bronze, 19.5’’ x 21’’ x 13’’ The Gossips sculpture was inspired by watching magpies walking up and down my horses' backs as they stood in the pasture. To tell a good story, you need interaction and conflict. I decided to create the bronze using a large bull moose, and he’s looking back over his shoulder, eyeing two squawking magpies sitting on his rump. It's bad enough when others gossip about you behind your back⎯but on your back?
